Q How do I begin to make positive changes in my life?

A The only way you can change is because of God's great exchange. "He who knew no sin became sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God." (2 Cor. 5:21). We change from the inside out because of his work on our behalf. True change begins through a relationship with Jesus Christ as we depend on his power to transform our lives.

Q Pastor, you talk about our call to share God's message with others. How can I begin doing this?

A As John Owen said, "Preach the gospel to yourself every day." We have been forgiven. We have been saved from our sin and the power, authority, and dominion of the devil. But best of all we have Jesus in our lives. So begin by sharing about your relationship with Jesus and how he's changed you.

Q How does God view me even though I still make mistakes?

A A changed life means that all your sins-past, present, and future- are forgiven in Christ. You are now accepted and approved. This is your new identity. This is now who you are. You are in Christ, and you are accepted in the beloved (2 Cor. 5:17). God approves of you and accepts you not on your own but because of what Christ has done for you. Even your mistakes can't change this standing before God.
